Where do I start?
To ensure that all your media (CDs, photographs, and movies) are effectively protected, be sure to start with good packing materials:

Step 1:	Use a sturdy box. If you don't have one, we'll be happy to help. (See "Shipping Materials" on the upper-left side of your screen)
Step 2:	Use good packing materials. To help protect the contents of your box, line the bottom and sides of your box with padding. If you don't have padding, we can provide bubble wrap for your convenience. (See "Shipping Materials" on the upper-left side of your screen).

How should I pack my videos?
Before sending the home movies that you want us to copy to your LyfeDryve, please review the following:

Step 1:	Gather your video tapes. Get all your home movie videos together in one place. IMPORTANT: Because it's illegal to copy movies that you don't own, send only home movies that you have clear ownership of.
Step 2:	Confirm that your format is supported. LyfeDryve supports a wide variety of videotapes as listed below. Please check the format of all tapes that you intend to send to ensure that that the format matches one of the following: Video8 (original 8mm video tape) Hi8 (improved hi-band Video8 tape) Digital8 (digital 8mm video tape) VHS (standard VCR tape) S-VHS (Super-VHS tape) VHS-C (VHS-Compact tape) S-VHS-C (Super-VHS-Compact tape)
Step 3:	Pack your videos on the bottom. Because the other items that you'll be packing are not as fragile as your videos, place all videos at the bottom of your box.

How should I pack my music CDs?
Before sending the Music CDs that you want us to copy to your LyfeDryve, please review the following:

Step 1:	Gather your CDs. Get all your CD's together in one place. IMPORTANT: Because it's illegal to copy music that you don't own, send only CDs that you have clear ownership of.
Step 2:	Remove jewel cases. Music CDs are normally stored in a plastic container known as a jewel case. Remove your music CD disk from its jewel case.
Step 3:	Pack all CDs into a round container. Put all your music CD disks in a round shipping container, similar to the one shown here. If you don't already have one, LyfeDryve offers inexpensive containers for this purpose. (See "Shipping Materials" on the upper-left side of your screen).
Step 4:	Secure the container. Consider using a small piece of tape to hold the top of the CD container to the bottom, to prevent the container from turning and opening while in transit.

How should I pack my photographs?
Before sending photographs that you want us to copy to your LyfeDryve, please review the following:

Step 1:	Gather all your loose photos. Because our high-speed automated scanning process is designed to quickly scan stacks of photos, send only loose photographs that are not bound in albums or other containers. Remove all photos smaller than 2" x 2" (two inches by two inches); our scanners are unfortunately not currently capable of processing pictures this small.
Step 2:	Label your Envelopes (optional). In order to help you find the pictures that you're looking for, we highly recommend that you write identifying information on each envelope that contains a group of pictures. As an example, you should consider writing the following information on the outside of each envelope: Short Description (Highly recommended. For example: "Jimmy's Birthday" Year (Highly recommended. An approximate year would be useful, if an exact year is unknown) Month (optional) Date (optional)
Step 3:	Pack your pictures on top. To help protect your photographs, consider packing them on top of everything else in the box that you send to us.
