STEP 4: Label your photos and movies.
See suggestions for labeling your items below. Although this step is optional, we strongly recommend that you do this so that you can easily find your photos and home movies on your LyfeDryve.

In order to help you find your pictures and home movies on your LyfeDryve, we recommend that you note the following on each envelope of pictures, and on each videotape:

- Short Description and Year: For example: "Jimmy's Birthday - 1998"
- Month: (optional)
- Date: (optional)

STEP 5: Pack your items, and place this printed form inside the box.
Use a sturdy box, and good packing materials (or order a shipping kit from us).
Remove your CDs from their original plastic cases, and place them in a round shipping container like the one shown below (or order a shipping kit from us):

What kind of pictures can I put on my LyfeDryve?
- Pictures as large as 8"x10"
- Pictures as small as 3"x3"
- Our scanners only accept loose photographs that are not in albums, frames, or bound in any way.

What kind of home movies can I put on my LyfeDryve?
- Please send only home movies; LyfeDryve is not legally permitted to process movies, TV shows, or other copyrighted material.

- VHS (standard VCR tape)
- S-VHS (Super-VHS tape)
- VHS-C (VHS-Compact video tape)

What kind of music CDs can I put on my LyfeDryve?
- Please send only original music CDs that you've purchased (not copies of songs that you've burned to CD).
